Ladies, we are so excited about our Spring Tea this year as it will be Brunch at the Spa! Come and spend the day with us as we focus on YOU! We will have some wonderful food, and you’ll be able to fellowship with other women in a relaxing setting. We have two guest speakers coming to share with us this year, also.
Dr. Kelsey Dobesh and Lisa Larson will be sharing their faith with us and telling their stories of hope! If you’re not familiar with these two wonderful women, here’s a little bit about each of them:
Dr. Kelsey Dobesh says this: “I am a certified athletic trainer and a chiropractor and have been practicing for almost 13 years. I live and reside in Mitchell and own my clinic here as well! In addition to these degrees, I also earned my Master's degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. I am an adjunct professor at DWU in the Athletic Training Program as well. I am deeply involved in the chiropractic association for the state of South Dakota as I serve as the District 2 Director. I love my profession and I LOVE being able to help others. . . I'm married to my husband Dan and we have three beautiful kids and love to explore and play! My favorite things include being in nature, reading and learning. I've learned many lessons about life along the way of business ownership while being a healthcare professional. There is no manual for this stuff! With each decision and action that we've made during the growth of the clinic, lots of planning, brainstorming, and prayer came with it. The longer I have been in practice, the more I've come to realize that running a business and taking care of others cannot be done without faith.” Dr. Kelsey says her clinic, the Dobesh Chiropractic Clinic, “isn't your traditional chiropractic clinic." They have many different programs, services, and products to meet all of your needs!
Lisa Larson is the office manager at Dobesh Chiropractic in Mitchell, SD. She manages the daily operations of the clinic and strives to make a positive impact on patients’ mental and emotional wellbeing to supplement the physical support they receive from their visits to the practice. Lisa has enjoyed running throughout her life. She has participated in several 5K, 10K, and half marathon distance races. She has completed four full marathons and qualified for and completed the 2019 Boston Marathon. Lisa was also a proud runner of The 437 Project in 2023 and 2024. Fifteen years ago, Lisa began a marathon for her own survival, racing against the effects of years of alcoholism. In the early years of her recovery, she discovered that her passion for running became her prayer “meditation on the run.” As she runs, she finds she is better able to gather her thoughts, think through creative ideas, and pray. In her sobriety, Lisa realized that the mental strength she gained as a result of her training matched the physical benefits. As she has grown in her recovery, Lisa has been an advocate for others who face the same disease. She knows first-hand that it does not discriminate and that its victims are often experts at covering up their vices. Lisa states that statistics show that addiction and suicide often go hand-in-hand, and as a result, Lisa has been an advocate for mental health awareness and openly shares her journey and zest for life with others.
